Enough technology to argue with a quotation
Most properties buying wristbands are handed a specification by an integrator and have no way to tell whether it is right, generous or nonsense. These pages exist to close that gap. They are reference material rather than sales copy, and where the honest answer is that something depends on your own system, they say so.
No chip family or lock brand is named anywhere on this site. Those names belong in your system documentation, and repeating them here would imply relationships that do not exist.

How RFID wristbands work
No battery, no signal of its own. The reader powers the band for the few milliseconds it takes to answer.

Before a run is quoted we confirm three things: the make and model of your lock system, the credential technology it reads, and the encoding scheme it expects. Where a system is proprietary or closed, we will say so rather than guess — and if we cannot meet it, we will tell you before you order.
