What this covers

This policy applies to resortbands.com and to the enquiry form on it. It does not cover any other website, whoever operates it.

What we collect

What you type into the enquiry form: property name, your name, your email address, the band and quantity you are asking about, the lock or point-of-sale system if you tell us, and any free-text detail you add. The hosting service also processes basic request information, including your IP address. If rate limiting is enabled, the IP address is retained for up to one hour to prevent abusive submissions. There is no account, no login and no newsletter.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics that build a profile of you. The site sets no cookies of its own.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, take steps you request before entering a contract and, if it becomes an order, to run that order. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse and keeping a proportionate record of business correspondence.

Who sees it

Authorised people handling your enquiry and the providers that host the website and deliver the enquiry email. We currently use Cloudflare for hosting and Resend for transactional email delivery. If an enquiry becomes an order, relevant details may also be shared with the manufacturing, payment and shipping providers that need them to make, invoice and deliver the goods. We do not sell enquiry data or share it for third-party marketing.

International processing

Hosting and email providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data-protection law requires it, those transfers are covered by the contractual safeguards applicable to the service.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask for access to a copy of what we hold, correction, deletion or restriction; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and request portability where that right applies. Email hello@resortbands.com. We respond within one month unless the applicable law permits more time for a complex request. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible where you live. We do not use enquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Required information

Property name, contact name and email address are required so that we can identify and answer the enquiry. The other form fields are optional. Please do not put sensitive personal information in the free-text box.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is processed through the hosting and email services described above and is held in access-controlled systems.

Trade marks

All third-party marks are the property of their respective owners. Any reference indicates compatibility only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not apply changes retrospectively to data already collected.
