The questions every enquiry contains

Answered here so you do not have to ask them to get a price. Where an answer depends on your own systems, it says so rather than guessing.

What is the minimum order?
500 bands per artwork, mixed colours counted as one run. Colours and sizes can be mixed inside one run at no extra minimum; a second logo is a second artwork and a second minimum.
How long does production take?
Typical production time is 12–21 days by material, counted from artwork and technical approval. Transit is additional and depends on destination and shipping mode. The clock starts at approval rather than at enquiry, which is why naming an approver early is the cheapest way to protect a delivery date.
Can I get samples first?
Samples are free for one set per property, and we cover standard shipping to a business address. Additional sets, express shipping and custom-printed samples are quoted separately. Where a band has to open a door, the sample set exists to be presented to a real lock by whoever maintains your access system — not to be admired.
Will your bands work with our door locks?
Compatibility is subject to confirmation of your lock system, credential technology and encoding requirements. Send the make and model of the lock, the credential technology it reads and a spare working card if you can. Some platforms use credentials configured by the lock vendor and will not accept a third-party blank at all; where that is the case we say so before an order rather than after production.
Do bands arrive ready to use?
RFID bands are supplied encoded to the scheme confirmed for your property, in sequential blocks. Paper and plain silicone bands carry no transponder and are supplied printed and numbered only. Bands are delivered in counted, sequentially numbered blocks with the ranges recorded per carton, so the front desk issues them straight from the box.
Can one band do access, payment and lockers?
Yes for zone access, cashless spend, meal entitlement and lockers — those are all the same transaction to the band. Guest room access can share it only if your lock platform accepts a credential you enrol. Staff and guest bands should not share a programme: different wear periods, different durability and different revocation rules.
How long does a band last?
By construction rather than by chip. A day band is specified for up to 72 hours, a woven stay band for two to four weeks of continuous wear, and a silicone band for a full season. The transponder itself outlasts all of them — bands fail at seams and flex points, not at the chip.
What is printed on the band?
Your artwork, plus sequential numbering as standard at no extra cost. Numbering prints in the same pass as the artwork, and where a band is encoded, the printed number corresponds to the credential inside it.
Can you match our brand colour?
Colour is matched to a supplied physical reference — a printed swatch or a sample — rather than to a screen value, because a match taken from a hex code alone is usually visibly off on a brand colour once it is on silicone or woven thread.
Do you offer certified or recycled materials?
FSC-certified material options available with supporting production documentation. Recycled bands are woven from post-consumer rPET and are supplied with a recycled-content declaration per delivery. We do not describe any band as biodegradable or compostable, because none of them are.
Can a guest read the band with their phone?
Only if it is specified with an NFC record, which is a separate thing from an access credential. Where it is, the record is written and locked read-only before dispatch, and it should point at a redirect on a domain you control so the destination can be changed later without touching the bands.
What ships with the order?
A material declaration for the substrate supplied, the transponder type and encoding record per block where the band carries a chip, a batch and quantity reconciliation per carton, and the artwork proof as approved for your records.
Can we reuse bands next season?
Technically yes — collect, clean, verify the read, re-encode, restock. Operationally it depends on having a natural collection point. Spa, staff and club programmes recover well; guest bands collected at checkout rarely do, and the labour usually exceeds the saving.
How do we disable a lost band?
By credential number, in your own system. That depends on holding a register mapping band numbers to holders, which is the property's responsibility and the control that actually matters. Bands ship in recorded sequential blocks specifically so that register can exist.

Still unanswered?

Describe the property, the volume and what the band has to do. We reply with a specification, a unit price, a lead time and samples of the band we would recommend.
