Terms of supply

These terms describe how an order runs from enquiry to delivery. They apply to quotations issued and orders accepted through resortbands.com. Where an individual written quotation or order confirmation says something different, that document takes precedence over this page.

Quotations

A quotation is an offer to supply on the specification stated in it — the substrate, the width, the closure, the print method, the quantity and, where a transponder is fitted, the encoding scheme. It is not binding until it is confirmed in writing by both sides. Until that confirmation, a quotation may be revised or withdrawn, and it should be treated as an indication rather than a fixed price.

Changing any part of the specification after a quotation is issued means the quotation is re-priced rather than adjusted. A different width, a different closure or a different number of print colours changes the tooling and set-up behind the unit price, so a revised figure is a new quotation and needs written confirmation of its own.

Artwork and approval

You send the artwork you have — a brand guide, a logo file, or a photograph of a previous band. We return a print-ready proof on the actual band shape, with the numbering position marked. Two revisions are included in the quoted price.

Nothing is produced until that proof is approved in writing. The approved proof is what the run is checked against, and a copy of it is supplied with the delivery. Where a band carries a transponder, the lock system, the credential technology and the encoding scheme are confirmed in writing at the same stage. If a system is proprietary or closed and we cannot meet it, we say so before the run is quoted rather than after it is made.

Approving a proof is approving the content as well as the layout. Spelling, dates, sequential number ranges and colour references are yours to check — once a proof is approved and the run is in production, a change means a new run.

You are responsible for holding the rights to the artwork you supply, and for any name, mark or logo in it.

Minimum run

500 bands per artwork, mixed colours counted as one run. The floor is a tooling and set-up cost rather than a policy: below 500 the set-up dominates the unit price so completely that the quotation stops being useful to you.

Lead times

Typical production time is 12–21 days by material, counted from artwork and technical approval. Transit is additional and depends on destination and shipping mode.

Production time is counted from artwork and technical approval, not from the order date or the purchase order. A delivery date quoted before approval is an estimate that assumes approval on the day it was given, and it moves with the approval.

Delivered quantity

Wristbands are made in a continuous process and the delivered quantity against a large run is close to the ordered quantity rather than exact to the band. Where the delivered count differs, the quantity actually supplied is what is invoiced. The reconciliation is not a matter of trust: every carton is marked with its counted contents and its sequential range, so the delivered total can be checked against the order without opening the boxes.

If a run has to be exact — because bands are matched one-to-one against tickets already sold, for example — say so on the enquiry. It is a specification decision that has to be taken before production, not a correction afterwards.

Compatibility

We do not claim universal compatibility, and we do not install or support the lock and point-of-sale systems a band works with. What we supply is the credential, encoded to the scheme confirmed for your property. Compatibility is established during technical confirmation, in writing, before a run is quoted.

Samples

Samples are supplied so a specification can be checked against a real band before a run is committed. They show the substrate, the closure and the construction. Where a sample carries print or a colour, it is representative of the method rather than an exact match to a run that has not yet been proofed.

All third-party marks are the property of their respective owners. Any reference indicates compatibility only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when that order was confirmed in writing.
