Coated paper
Coated paper is what you use when the band has to carry an RFID chip and still be disposable. A paper core laminated on both faces gives you a printable surface, a place to seal an inlay, and a unit cost low enough that nobody minds when a day guest walks off with it.

Why not Tyvek for RFID
Tyvek is excellent for printed day bands but a poor host for an antenna: the sheet is thin, flexible in every direction, and the material will not laminate cleanly around a rigid inlay. A paper core with a film laminate gives a flat, stable pocket for the antenna, protects it from flexing, and stops moisture reaching the chip. That is the whole reason this material exists on the list.
Working life is genuinely one day
The laminate keeps water off the core for the length of a day at a water park, and no longer. Repeated wet-dry cycles will eventually work moisture in at the die-cut edge, the core softens, and the band loses its shape. This is not a defect to design around — it is the point. If you need a chip on a wrist for a week, use silicone or woven and pay the difference.
Print quality is the best of the seven
Because it is fundamentally a printed substrate, coated paper takes full four-colour process work with photographic detail. If the band needs to carry a sponsor logo, a map, a schedule or a QR code alongside the chip, this is the only material here that will render all of it crisply.
