Bamboo fibre
Bamboo fibre is not bamboo the way a cutting board is bamboo. The plant is pulped, the cellulose regenerated into filament, and the filament spun into yarn — so what arrives at the loom is a soft textile with a slight lustre rather than anything woody. It is the substrate to reach for when the band has to be comfortable for a week and still look considered.

Why it feels different on the wrist
Regenerated bamboo filament has a rounder cross-section than cotton staple, so fewer fibre ends stand proud of the yarn surface. Less protruding fibre means less friction against skin, which is what people are registering when they call it softer. Over a five-night stay that difference stops being a luxury detail and becomes the reason the band is still on the wrist rather than in a bin.
It takes colour deeply
The regenerated filament accepts dye through its cross-section rather than only at the surface, so dye-sublimated graphics sit in the yarn instead of on it. Sun and sea water lift very little colour over a normal wear period, and abrasion at the closure does not produce the pale worn patch you get on surface-printed synthetics. Fine detail holds, though a hairline serif will always be kinder on woven polyester than on any spun natural yarn.
Where it is the wrong choice
It absorbs and holds water longer than woven polyester, so a band worn in and out of a pool all day stays damp against the skin for a while after. For pure water duty silicone is better. Bamboo earns its place where the band is worn continuously in heat — spa programmes, wellness retreats, long stays — and comfort outranks drying time.
Chip and closure
The RFID module is sewn into a sealed pocket behind the face or carried in a slim woven channel, so nothing rigid sits against the wrist. Closures are a one-way plastic slider for tamper evidence, or a re-fastenable metal clasp where the guest is expected to remove the band. Sequential numbering and QR panels print onto a light woven area rather than onto the dyed ground.
